WORTH SAVING

Before I received Jesus as my personal savior I was a unconscious person who did everything I thought I was big enough to do. I was very disobedient and rebellious. Listening to my mother who raised me in the church was not on my agenda. It was when I was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer that my life as well as my mother life changed for the good. My diagnosis of stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma was my introduction to my savior. I thought I was at the end of life but God saved me. I'm here to tell you that I'm 37 years old and I'm cancer free. God saved my family and me. I've found so much peace in having a relationship with God. Trusting him even when I can't even trace him has built my faith.

I remember at the age of 21 I was at my ob-gyn having my 6 weeks check up since I had just had my second child. I was testing positive for being pregnant but I wasn't actually pregnant. It was called a molar pregnancy. When the doctor explained that the tumor which was growing in my uterus could be cancer I was devastated. So tests had to be done and the tumor was removed. My family went into prayer and God heard our prayer and delivered me. Once the tests came back and surgery was a success I claimed my victory through Christ who is my strength.

Realizing that God was and is real I knew after all my encounters with death sentences I had to be a part of the up building of God kingdom. I wanted to be apart of the promise of eternal life. So I gave my life to God and now I have the right to eternal life through his son Jesus that died for me. I'm excited about it. Someone loving me so much that he spared me so many times so I can be the testimony that would bring someone else to the knowledge of his power.

Having the gift of eternal life has freed me from my fear of death. Being apart of God plan has gave me a new look on life that I never thought I could receive and I'm forever grateful.

Regardless of what you're faced with in life you must realize that it's for purpose. It's meant to strengthen you and prepare you for greater.

Jesus came so we would have the right to eternal life. He suffered down here on earth, so what makes us so different. He came to show us that it can be done. The road to eternal life is promised however, God didn't promise it would be easy. Knowing that he said he would never leave or forsake us gives me the hope that I need to keep traveling this road.
