Why stay angry?

Before I received eternal life, I was angry and bitter. I was also very discontent.

I remember masking my anger and bitterness by partying with my friends as a way of escape. I also would go to the gym to let out steam.

Then my brother, Pete, and his friend, Steve, shared with me the Good News of eternal life.

Now that I have eternal life, I have peace, joy and gratitude in my heart. I've also learned the importance of forgiveness toward others.

Because I have received forgiveness, I have been able to forgive and love others who have hurt me by showing them God's love.

Jesus' gift of eternal life is given to me freely, only through grace. I still get angry sometimes, but because of what Christ has done in my life, I no longer stay angry.
