Why I can’t not believe!
When I need peace from my hurting, I will receive it. When I need wisdom, James 1:5 says I will receive it. When I need financial support, I call on the owner of the cattle of a thousand hills and he will provide! When I need comforting, he is my comforter. God is not my genie or my spiritual DoorDash, he is my father and he cares for me and provides for my needs.
I am glad I have eternal life because I know that whatever comes my way, I am safe in the hands of the Lord!
The summer after my first year of college I came back home to work until the next semester. I had no money left over from my school year and I knew I couldn’t hold a job once school started back so this was my only chance to earn money for the year! I had no job opening, no one needed a babysitter, no one reached out, I was stuck. With the money I had left I was hesitant to let go of but I felt like I was being called to tithe it and give it back to the Lord. After giving it to God, I was contacted by a Lawyer in town and was asked to get her kid out of the house for two weeks. After the two weeks it became the whole summer! God is my provider.
After experiencing God’s provision, I know he will continue to provide for me and my family forever! I know I will join him in heaven one day because he has shown me again and again that I am his daughter and he cares for me and my needs! I am a child of the King!
