Who's In Charge?

As a young girl, I was focused on one thing in life, to become a ballerina. I was completely self-centred and felt only I was in control of my destiny. During my first year in high school a friend invited me to a large church rally in San Francisco. At the rally I heard the gospel for the first time and became a Christian.

In college, I remember a student telling me I needed to pray and ask God to lead me in my decisions in life. I still had a habit of trying to be in charge of my life, it was an inner transformation for me to begin to seek God's direction and feel peace with my daily decisions.

Since then I continue to rely on God by praying, reading the Bible and memorising scripture. He now holds my destiny, and I can relax as I go through life trusting in Him, knowing He is in control and that when I die I'll have eternal life in Heaven.
