Who I was, is not who I am
I accepted Christ into my life at a young age and always knew he was with me. Looking back he was there more than I knew at the time. I don't want to even consider what could happened if God wasn't there in those times.
No matter what I've done in my past, I can live my life in peace knowing that all my sins are washed away. Because of this, I live for Jesus until he takes my to Glory.
I didn't like who I was. I hide my pain with booze, drugs, porn and women. I took my anger out on my beautiful wife, never physically but I have said some really mean things to her. When I thought our marriage was truly over my wife talked me into christian marriage counseling. After talking with the counselor and listening to the messages at church I decided to rededicate my life to Jesus. That is when I confessed all my sins to God and my wife and grown kids. I have been transformed. I was a monster and now the things of my past sicken me. I have a love in my heart for, The Love of My Life, I could never imagine before. I am free from the desires of the enemy that use to keep me captive. I now have peace in my heart and find joy in my family. All thanks to being reborn through Christ. Thank you Lord for carrying my wife through the hard times.
Now that I choose to know Jesus, I have a relationship with him. I feel the presents of The Holy Spirit and put all my faith and hope in his hands. I believe that who ever believes in Jesus will never die but have everlasting life.
