Value\Purpose

Before I received the gift of eternal life I felt empty, worthless, like I had no value or purpose.

I remember a time in my life where it seemed like everything was changing. School, friends, family and even myself. I shrank into myself. I remember feeling like no one liked me, no one loved me and no one cared.

Then someone shared with me how I could receive the gift of eternal life. Once I received this gift, I began to live differently.

Now that I have the gift of eternal life, I can live knowing that I am loved, I am worth something and I do have a purpose.

One night I was taking out the trash after hours at my first job, when a truck missed its turn, went over a curb, down a hill crashed and caught on fire. I ran back in the restaurant grabbed the fire extinguisher and rushed to put the fire out. Once I got there the driver of the truck was trying to put the fire out with his coat. Gas was pouring from his gas tank. His cloths caught on fire. I was able to get him put out and away from the truck. Then the fire department came and finished the fire off. My boss almost fired me for what I did, but the firemen said I saved the man's life. Thinking back on what happened, I know that God has a purpose for each of us and he gives us the courage and the strength to achieve that purpose.

God loves us so much he offers each of us the gift of eternal life. I know for certain that if I where to die right now I would go to heaven to be with him for eternity.
