Trevor Turk - Testimony (condensed)

My life was selfish and pointless before I knew Christ.

I had no direction in life and, although very philosophical, could not reason why I was here and fell into deep depression.

I was invited to a small church by a close friend. They needed help with their worship band and I reluctantly agreed. The people in the church were so different and before long I learned the essentials of christianity and was saved.

Now I know the purpose God has for me and for the church. It has been many years since I was saved and my life bears no resemblance to what it was before God met me where I was at and saved me.

In all of my struggles, I naturally turn to God first and this has helped me to develop great perseverance that allows me to help others at a level not possible on my own strength.

I have believed and testified about Jesus Christ. I know that when I die, I will be in the presence of the Lord and with Christ for eternity to the fulfillment of the hope and promises God has given His people.
