Transformed Mind and Heart
I was plagued by generational sin. Christ pulled me out of my situation, saved me, and transformed my mind.
Before my personal relationship with Jesus began, I had no sense of self worth.
Born into a family full of generational sin, I had no hope for anything better. With no good model of what I should strive to become, my sinful nature pulled me far from the Lord. With no guidance and a poor self-esteem, I made many many poor choices. The Lord delivered me from all of that by removing me from that environment which led to getting adopted by a family who loved me and wanted me to have a relationship with Jesus.
At first I didn’t get it but soon enough I began to understand sin and my desperate need for salvation. I soon accepted Christ as Lord of my life and my entire outlook on life was radically changed!
My mind was transformed! When I think about my past self compared to what Christ has made me, it almost feels like that was a different life.
It didn’t take me long to realize that my self worth is found in Christ and God is going to use my past to reach people for His glory!
After witnessing everything Jesus has done in my life and seeing myself transform, I know that the day that I die I will live for eternity with God in heaven.
