Todd's Testimony

Because I know I have eternal life through Jesus Christ it gives me inner peace when things are going badly and also allows me to easily forgive people since I know I have been forgiven.

My father passed away from a heart attack at the age of 70. Luckily I was home when this happened, I picked him up off the bed, laid him on the floor and started CPR while waiting for paramedics to arrive. I somehow knew that my Dad was already gone and I was at total peace with that, as strange as that sounds. I know for a fact that was the peace of Jesus I was feeling. Death is always a hard thing to face but when you are washed in the blood of Christ and know where you will spend eternity it is not a scary thing anymore.

The peace I felt the night my father passed away is always with me. When you know you will spend eternity in heaven with God, life's problems seem relatively small.
