The transformation
You are never too late and you are never too broken to turn to God. God’s timing are always on time
Growing up, Christ wasn’t someone I’d turn to. Even though I grew up in a religious family. Sure, I knew who God and Jesus were. But asking for help wasn’t my thing. I either do it myself or die trying.
I entered the “adult life” at a very young age. I started hustling for money at the age of 15. Because my parents were having a hard time financially. So I wasn’t the type to ask for stuff or for help. And before reaching the age 21, I was blessed with two handsome boys. I used to think it was God’s way of punishing me. But the more I get closer to god, the more I understand why he was doing it. He shaping my character.
After divorcing my ex wife of six years, I was at a very low place. Until a very good friend of mine took me to church. I wasn’t sure at first. But then one day I decided I’d go by myself. During church I was feeling like someone was calling me. I’m not one who cries but that day I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit. I burst into tears. From that day forward, I started to follow Jesus Christ.
Now that I’m following Christ, I have nothing to worry about. He’s been changing me and leading me. Some of my friends are even noticing the change.
After losing some of the people that I thought was gonna be a part of my life. I thought I’d be sad about it. But I wasn’t because I know if God can remove the people that are not for me, I know he can bring people that are for me.
From now on, no matter what comes my way, I know God the father, Jesus the son and the Holy Spirit are always by my side.
Your testimony matters too
