The testimony of a broken person

Before I was saved and accepted Him as my savior I mostly felt alone, self-centered and overwhelmed.

I remember before I joined the United states Army there was a day that I came to a realization the world did not revolve around me and it became evident then that I was a child of God.

Then A chaplain while deployed told me how to receive eternal life and I was transformed into a new life.

Now that I have received that free gift of eternal life I have became a new creation.

On May 1, 2009 I was involved in a mission in Kandahar Afghanistan. We lost several men that day to the opposition. For once I was at peace and not afraid of dying.

This life that has been graciously given to me is His to live inside my flesh and I know for certain that if I was to die today I would be in heaven with God.
