THE STORY OF MY PERSONAL ENCOUNTER WITH GOD
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life No one comes to the Father except through me” – John 14:16 This short story was written and published to inspire and encourage as many: to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior; to read the Holy Bible and put to life its teachings; to follow what God planned for them to accomplish; to know how to respond in times of difficulties and troubles in life; to help and encourage other people in times of troubles and difficulties… This is the story of my BATTLE with my sick body, mind, and spirit: painful and disturbing conditions..... My faith in the Scriptures that just developed during this ordeal, gave me strength, hope, and assurance, that lead me to eventual VICTORY!
Before I experienced my personal encounter with God, I lacked the trust and faith in God that He is always in control of all situations in life.
When I figured in a minor accident in 2018, I thought it was the end of my world, believing that the mishap and all that I had to do to recover and cope were all within my control.
While my right leg was in cast as a result of that accident, a friend gifted me with a Holy Bible. Reading the Holy Bible and listening to Bible studies, led me to knowing God Jesus Christ to higher more personal level.
Now, knowing God Jesus Christ on a higher level of understanding through reading the Bible, I am able to control my negative attitude of being a worrier. I now totally surrender to Him and trust Him with everything about my life, and remind myself that worrying will not ease difficulties because it is only God who is always in control of all my circumstances.
Now, every time I am confronted with situations that are worrisome, for example: in one occasion, when I was loaded with works that had the same deadlines, my acid reflux shot up because of stress, but I prayed a lot, composed myself and reminded myself that I would not have had these assignments if God did not permit this, so He would give me all resources, including enough time and wisdom to finish the works. I always remind myself that I am never in total control of the circumstances that give me stress, but only God is, so worrying is totally useless and violating the command of God.
Now that I know God Jesus Christ on a higher level of understanding with a higher level of personal relationship with Him, trying every time and all the time to follow His teachings as written in the Holy Bible, and have accepted Him as my Savior to Eternal Life, I am confident that with God's continuous grace and pardon, He will accept me to His Kingdom in the life after death of my human body.
