The story of my faith.
Faith in his continued mercy is what leads me to trust in Him for eternal life.
I am assured of God's love for me, through His mercy and forgiveness, both of which secure my trust in His plan for my life.
I knew my decisions were not Godly choices, but I was determined to chase after the things that I perceived to offer personal gratification. Each poor choice snowballed into results that I have to live with for the rest of my life. Each time I come humbly back, crying for forgiveness and intervention, God is there with open arms ready to welcome me. He freely offers his love and mercy, as He tenderly reminds me that He has great plans for me, but that I need only trust in Him, pray, and seek His will for my life.
Now that same mercy has strengthened my trust in Him, and I know that He is there for me always. Because of this, I know He not only wants what's good for me in this life, but that He has given me eternal life to be with him in heaven.
