The Power to Change

Before I received eternal life, I was very prideful.

There have been moments in the past, whether it was in a relationship or with family. Where I was clearly wrong about something, but was to prideful to admit that I was wrong.

Then I discovered how to have eternal life and live differently. Knowing that when pride gets in the way, your not living God's way.

Now that I have eternal life, I know that pride can't be apart of it. Before, when I knew I was wrong, I would just leave it alone and not even worry about thoughts of being prideful. Now with my relationship with Jesus and GOD, it's like they give me a little nudge and say, "you know that's not right."

I'll be honest, at times I make mistakes and let pride back in. But it's a great feeling knowing that I could acknowledge it and have the power to change for the love of others. As I continue to grow and learn from my mistakes, I have confidence to know that pride will never seriously affect my relationship with fiancé, family and friends.

It's a great feeling knowing that you don't have to be perfect for GOD. That I could make a mistake, but the big thing is to know and acknowledge what I've done wrong and ask for forgiveness. With that feeling, I know that I have eternal life and that I'm going to heaven when I die.
