The day I encountered God
God never had to save my son but he did because of the destiny on his life. There is work to be done for the Kingdom and each if us has a part to play.
I'm glad I have eternal life because I know that I can trust in God's plan and be confident and secure that He's always with me. It's an adventure with God each and every day and my new passion and purpose in life.
I grew up in the church but never realize what I was missing until tragedy hit. My son was set on fire alive and almost died. The doctors called it a miracle and I saw God all over it. I encountered God in his hospital room and realize at that moment that it was time to fully turn my life over to God. I remember he came from surgery not breathing and I was furious. I began to curse doctor and nurse in the hospital and then the hand of Jesus touched me and told me it was going to be ok. I felt a peace that I've never felt before and my prayer at that moment was Lord your will be done. His will was for my son to live and for my to come home and I did. I realize my son could have died but Gods mercy and grace saved us and now I know for sure that God is my salvation and I have eternal life.
The same peace God gave me in that situation is something i experience everyday of my life. I know without a doubt that God is always with me and that I will spend eternity with him in Heaven.
