The chains at night
God has dominion over everything. I can go to God and ask him for forgiveness and He forgives me. I don't have to worry when I go to bed that if I was bad the devil and his chains would not come in the middle of the night to get me.
Before I received Christ I was empty inside and afraid of rejection.
Growing up I was told that if I wasn't good the devil would come and get me. The devil would shake his chains to let me know he was going to take me to hell.
I had several Elders from the Mormon church come and visit me. They told me that God loved me and what I was told was not true. They lead me to the Lord. They told me about God's grace and mercy and how much he loved me.
I felt peace and wanted to know more about Christ. I wanted to find a church.
We found a wonderful Bible preaching church that taught me about God's grace and mercy and about forgiveness.
I now know that God loves me and I no longer have to fear that the devil was going to come and get me.
