The Answer!

Before I received the gift of eternal life, I had so many unanswered questions. I was afraid that if I didn't know the answers to the deepest questions in life that I wouldn't be able to live or be ready to die.

I didn't have a father figure for a while in my childhood- a person to answer these questions that plagued me. I longed for a powerful relationship with someone who could help me find these answers.

I saw a play- "Heaven's Gates and Hells Flames." For the first time I realized that I didn't need to have all the answers to life. I asked Him to forgive me and remove the fear in my heart. Here was the answer to all the questions- Jesus Christ. He paid the penalty for my sin and purchased a place in Heaven for me. Instead of answers, now I long for His wisdom and company. I am so grateful for His love, understanding, and peace.

I am not afraid of not having all of the answers. I trust in His wisdom and truth.

We live in a scary world. I don't have to fear for the unkown- the future of my family. I trust Him to protect my loved ones.

Not because of my own wisdom, but because of His love and forgiveness I know for certain that when I leave this place I will be in His eternal presence in Heaven.
