Surrender

I came to know Christ at a young age. My parents made sure I was in church throughout my youth. I began to rebel in my late teens which hindered my relationship and growth in Christ for many years. It wasn't until I completely surrender to Him that I found the inner peace and power to change who I was. The man I was , was not who I wanted to be and more importantly was not who Christ wanted me to be. It was His transforming power, by grace through faith that changed my life and made me the husband and father I needed to be. I am so grateful for the forgiveness and unconditional love provided my Jesus Christ.

I remember feeling so overwhelmed with the choices I had made and the pressures of family, work and finances, it was in that moment that Christ reminded me that He had all the answers. When I surrendered to Him and spent routine time in His word He delivered me and blessed me with a wonderful satisfying assurance of His goodness and love.

When we are willing to unite with Christ, by faith, we are assured of His promise of eternal life in heaven.
