Struggles at work

I know l have Gods presence with me every day and it gives me comfort and reduces my fears for the future.

I was about to be made redundant from my job of 18 years due to restructuring. I was struggling with feelings of rejection and fears for my future and was experiencing burnout from the hostile work environment. I prayed regularly about the issue and felt at peace trusting God for a good outcome. I was offered a temporary relief job by a friend in a similar workplace which l could start as soon as l was available and actually could start it before l finished up at the first job. Following that job, a permanent job at a place near my home became available for me to go to. They were very pleased to employ me as l had the work experience and skills they needed. Both these jobs were exactly what l needed at the time and my confidence and peace of mind returned. I felt it was an answer to my prayers. I know that God’s hand and provision was working for me in this situation and it worked out for a much better employment future.

I feel gratitude and peace knowing God is with me everyday and loves me and cares about my struggles, hears my prayers and provides for me. I know that l have eternal life in Him and that one day l will be in Heaven with Him.
