Straightened out on the Road, but it wasn't Straight St.
I grew up in the mountains of Colorado, as a sixth generation native. After high school, I joined the Colorado Air National Guard where I served as a Medical Technician, Security Forces, and Honor Guard NCOIC. While I served in the Air National Guard, I served as a civilian EMT, firefighter, 911 dispatcher, and sheriff’s deputy. I did not grow up a Christian. At the age of 19, I first heard the gospel preached. Between the age of 19 and 25 I identified as a Christian, but continued to live a worldly life. I struggled with emptiness, and attempted to fill the void with substances, lust, and money. That is until I began to be discipled by a man named Curtis Grimes. I sold all of my belongings, packed up the necessities, and moved to Texas in 2019 in obedience to the Lord. Later that year, I met my wife Heather. We moved to Pittsburg, Texas shortly after getting married in May 2020. We welcomed their firstborn son in 2021, Easton. I have joy unthinkable and am filled where I used to feel empty. All while I am sober, and faithful to my wife! Truly thankful for God's grace in my life.
Before I received eternal life I was empty and self-centered.
I looked everywhere for anything that would satisfy the emptiness I felt, and did whatever it took get it.
Then Curtis Grimes shared the truth of the gospel with me, I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and I received eternal life.
