Story of a former agnostic

Before I received eternal life, I did not care about God nor know who He was.

I grew up in a household in which religion was sidelined, and I simply didn't care. From time to time I was curious as to what my friends believed, but I didn't think it really mattered.

Then I was invited to a concert where the singer shared how anyone could really know God. I knew Jesus was real, that He is God, and that I needed to give Him my life.

Now I know that God is real, and that because of Jesus I will forever be with Him in eternity.

For me, it was an instantaneous change. I wasn't looking for God, but all of a sudden I knew He was looking for me, and He wanted me to be His. I gave Jesus my thoughts, my future, my decision - everything I knew to give, I put into His hands. Once I knew He was real, I knew I needed to serve Him.

Before, I was aimless without purpose. Now I know the Lord of the Universe. I have been made at peace with God. I have received forgiveness forever, and I will be with Him throughout the ages.
