Sovereign Over All
When I'm surprised by life, I know that God is never surprised.
I am glad I know that I have eternal life because I know that God has a plan for my life.
One time I was driving home from work in the rain and I slid off the road and down a hill. All around me were very large and densely packed trees. My car ended up in the only spot where a car could fit among all of the trees. Also I don't remember turning the wheel to make the car end up where it finally stopped. I feel that God was protecting me that night. It gave me so much confidence in knowing that He is sovereign over all things.
That situation has given me a peace in knowing that God loves me and is looking out for me. Nothing that I can do will ever surprise Him.
