Set Free!

Not having grown up in the church, I didn't know there was a need to have my sins forgiven and that Jesus took care of it, that there is a God who loves me personally, or a better way to live with the help of the Holy Spirit. When I was told about Him and believed, things started to change right away. He took away fears that I'd had and gave me such peace. And even though my situation at the time didn't change, the way I dealt with it did.

I was afraid of the dark and just fearful in general. I needed to always have a light on and check every part of the house whenever I came home. It felt like torment. I learned I could be set free from fears, prayed, and God took it away.

When I realized what I was being told was true and real, I stopped resisting, said "Yes" to Jesus, and never looked back.

He has set me free!

It's an exciting and fun adventure having God in my life.

I am grateful He has saved me and that one day I will be with Him forever!
