SCARED OF DEATH.

SCARED OF DEATH. Before I received eternal life I was terribly afraid of dying.

When I was growing up my Sister died of a mysterious illness that was believed to be demonic. In the final days of her life I watched her groan in so much pain that my fear was compounded; I could sleep with lights on and could not go into the house alone or go outside in the night alone. In the days that followed her death I was literally paralyzed by this fear of death.

Then my girlfriend took me out one evening to a Church to watch drama called “Heavens’ Gate and hells’ flames” at the end of that drama, I received eternal life and my life changed forever! Now that I have eternal life I no longer fear death.

Sometime later after I received eternal life, my elder brother fell ill and was the person literally taking care of him. I remember sitting next to his sick bed and him telling me that he is going to die and that I should study hard and take care of the family and for the first time in my life not being afraid of dying. I could no longer sleep with lights on and didn’t need anybody to walk with at night; when he eventually died, I even held his corps and the casket in which he was and realized that the fear of death was no more. Now I know for sure that if I die I will go to be with God in Heaven! I have that confidence ever since and my life is never the same.
