Saving Big O

Before I received eternal life I was unfulfilled, disappointed, resentful and angry searching for purpose and looking for people and worldly substances and material to fill the void in my soul.

I was sitting alone in my house separated from my family, isolated from my friends asking myself why I was so angry and empty.

With nowhere else to turn, I started reading the bible and attending church where I found peace and learned about the gift of eternal life and the plans and purpose God has for me.

Once I accepted Jesus as my Savior and accepted the free gift of eternal life, the void in my soul began to fill with the love of the Heavenly Father and I was free to forgive and be forgiven which in the end saved my marriage and gave me greater purpose and perspective in life.

Since accepting Jesus as Lord, our lives have been one returned blessing after another as we give, serve and praise in the name of Jesus.

I owe it all to Jesus for leaving His throne in heaven, coming to earth to suffer as man and dying on the cross for my sin, and accepting Him as my Savior is the only reason I have eternal life after I die.
