Safe Ground
God shows us that we are living on unsafe ground. He shows us how to live on safe ground We can have His safe ground forever; it's called heaven or eternal life.
I am glad that I accepted the free gift of eternal life that the Bible tells me about. Since I accepted the free gift of eternal life I have real, everlasting hope and inner peace and joy.
I recall when I was younger taking a hiking trip with my Uncle Mike. We ended up on some slag and nearly fell off a precipice. While trying to cross a glacier to get to safe ground, I asked him if he were to die right now did he know if he would go to heaven. As we were trying to get to safe ground I explained to him how God offers us a safe place for eternity, which He has prepared for those who believe in Him. This gift of eternity is free and available to all. Isn't that wonderful? God's grace is to offer to everyone a place with Him forever.
When my Uncle said he wasn't sure I share with him how I came to know that God gives to everyone who will believe in Jesus the free gift of eternal life. In the Bible it says that we are save by grace through faith, and that not of ourselves, it is the GIFT OF GOD, not of work so that no one can boast. I am thankful for His grace and heaven.
