Relying on God in friendships

I’m glad that I have eternal life and that God is always there for me. He gives me such power for working, living, and caring. In times I felt alone, he was there. In times I felt connected, he was there.

I recall going through a period in my life where I thought I would never be able to keep a friendship. Many times at school, my “friends” were just my classmates and they were gone the next year. I reached out to God and trusted that he had a plan for me and now, I can say I have some pretty great friends.

I am assured of my eternal life because it was Jesus who paid the price I could never pay. He has done so much for my life and he is always with me. I know that even when I felt alone, he was watching over me.
