Relentless Love
I was pretty much your typical "Raised in a Christian home, went to church every week and got saved at a young age" type of girl. Though for a long time my relationship with God was lacking, He unconditionally loved me and used circumstances in my life to bring me back to Him.
"I'm thankful for my eternal life because I can be secure in the knowledge that God never has and never will give up on me. My God's love is unconditional.
Throughout my young teen years, I was very "comfortable" with where I was in life. Though I had asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 7 years old and had grown up in the church, God was not on the throne of my life. All of that changed when my family moved across the country and I was left without all of the comforts I had known before, especially my friends. God used this to grab my attention and it caused me to have to lean more on Him and trust Him with that new season of my life. My faith began to grow as I heard the Gospel taught in a fresh, new perspective at my new church and I was so thankful that God didn't give up on me.
God took me back even though I had gone off to do my own thing in life. Hearing again and again of His unconditional love that loves me no matter WHAT really touched my heart. Jesus loves me so much that He died for me, offering a gift to the whole world and to me that I have done nothing to deserve. I am confident that what Jesus did on the cross was enough and I get to be with my Savior someday.
