Redeemed

Before I received eternal life I was looking for love in all the wrong places by running my race to pursue more degrees, more money, a bietter zip code, a newer model car and dressing to impress.

The chase for bigger and better left me exhausted.

Completely surrendered, I put my trust in my Lord and Savior who paid the price to set me free.

As I daily abide in the vine and rest in God's accomplished work, He empowers me to be content in abundance or in simplicity and in plenty or in want.

It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. God has taken me to my lowest point before any significant work is done. I have been stripped, broken and emptied; and only trust remains. In God's right side up economy the higher the position the lower the servant, the greatest are the least, winning is serving, the last will be first, he who loses his life will gain it and he who humbles himself God will exalt. All things are possible to those who believe. I am following my God-given dream now and when His work is completed through me, people will see the glory of God who brings the possible out of the impossible.

Because of my personal relationship with Jesus Christ, I am confident that when I close my eyes to this life I will open my eyes in the presence of my Lord for all eternity.
