Redeemed and Set Free!

Before I accepted Jesus, I was controlled by addiction. I had no purpose and no hope that things could change.

My addiction eventually took me to a place where I lost everything I had, material possessions, meaningful relationships, and all sense of self-worth. The drugs controlled me and I would do anything for them. I was in and out of jail and surrounded myself with people who used and abused me.

After a miraculous escape from a man that was trying to kill me, I knew it was time to change. I had hit rock bottom and thought to myself, "This can't be it for me. There has to be more to life than this." I fell to my knees and cried out to God saying, "I'm so sorry for all that I did. I don't know how to change or get out of this mess I'm in but if you can fix me then here I am." At that moment the love and grace of God flooded my heart. I realized right then that this was what I was looking for my entire life.

Now that I have a relationship with Jesus, I am free from the control of addiction and live in total joy and happiness.

I went from having nothing to having everything. God blessed me with a husband, 2 beautiful children, my own home, and I am on the Pastoral Staff at the church I got saved in!

Living a life dedicated to Jesus not only brings total happiness and fulfillment, but the assurance that when I die I will have eternal life with Him in Heaven!
