Rags To Redemption
I was a Navy veteran who faced homelessness, addiction, loss, and multiple brushes with death—but in my darkest moments, Jesus found me, saved me, and gave me a new life filled with peace, purpose, and the promise of eternity with Him.
My story includes four years of homelessness, two suicide attempts, the painful loss of my mother, and three near-death experiences.
My story includes four years of homelessness, two suicide attempts, the painful loss of my mother, and three near-death experiences. I also battled addiction and deep spiritual brokenness. But by the grace of God, I’ve experienced radical transformation, healing, and restoration through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Today, I live free, with purpose, and a deep desire to serve others—especially those who feel stuck, forgotten, or lost like I once did. I’m not seeking money or recognition. I simply want to share my testimony wherever it might give hope and glorify the One who saved me.

A positive result of receiving eternal life is experiencing true peace and a restored relationship with God that brings lasting hope and purpose.
There was a night during my homeless years when I was sitting alone behind a building, cold, hungry, and wondering if my life would ever matter. I had nothing—no direction, no support, and honestly, no desire to keep going. But in that moment of silence, I remember praying—not some fancy prayer, just a desperate cry: “God, if You’re real… help me.” It wasn’t instant, but that was the turning point. Over time, God started opening doors I didn’t even know existed. He surrounded me with the right people, helped me get back on my feet, and little by little, healed me from the inside out. I realized eternal life isn’t just about heaven later—it’s about walking in peace and purpose now, knowing I’m no longer alone and that my life has meaning in Him.
Today, I can say with full confidence that I have eternal life—not because of anything I’ve done, but because of what Jesus did for me. I know that when my time on this earth is over, I’m going to heaven—not with fear, but with peace—because I belong to Him. My life is in His hands, and my future is secure.
