Purpose and Identity.

I am glad I have faith in Christ because Christ has given me a purpose to live for.

I remember when I had a bad car wreck back in 1995. I injured my left hip and my left elbow very badly. I was in the hospital for two full months between the surgeries and the physical rehabilitation. As I lay flat on my back on a hospital bed, I realized that God still had a purpose for me. He wanted me to live so that others would give God glory because of what they saw in me. He wanted me to be joyful and to share that this joy comes from my faith in Christ.

This same purpose fuels my life. It gives me a reason to get up in the morning. It also gives me a reason to hope that others would find purpose and hope through a real relationship with Christ that starts now and lasts for all time.
