Personal Testimony: not fearing death anymore.

Before I received eternal life, I was afraid of death.

I remember many moments when in the middle of the night I was gripped by a fear of death. Everything changed when I discovered that I have the assurance of heaven not because of anything I did something, but because Christ paid for my sins. I was no longer a sinner, but a member of God's family. I became God's son and He promised me that one day I will be again with Him.

I discovered that the assurance of eternal life is available for anyone who puts his faith in Christ.

Now that I have eternal life, I'm a member of God's family, I fear no more about death. I know one day I will die, but that moment will be the moment when I will meet my Father.

A friend of mine was diagnosed with brain cancer. It was hard for me to imagine being diagnosed myself, but I thought that if I ever were, I wouldn’t be afraid, because I have assurance.

I will die one day, but I fear not because God will be with me through the valley of the shadow of death.
