Personal Testimony

I am glad I have eternal life with Jesus Christ because he gives me the strength to keep on going, inner peace, and most importantly for me, hope.

I can recall a time where the Lord provided me with the strength, hope, and inner peace to keep going on. I was in 7th grade and my Mom was expecting. Though sadly the baby didn't make it. For me it was harder to watch my parents go through that loss rather than me feeling the loss as I did not fully understand. This was a long and difficult process that still has ramifications to the present. Which included multiple medical procedures, chronic illness, and emotional distress. Though after all this God strengthened the already strong bond I had with my parents and created a new path with my walk with Christ. Without a doubt the Lord has provided not only me with peace and strength to keep pushing forward, but he has done the same for my family. God provided me with compassion and hope that there would be a better day and the sun would still rise in the morning and that everything is according to his will. This is evident in Ecclesiastes 3:11, "Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of Gods work from beginning to end."

Ever since that situation I have always looked to God for peace and comfort and he has never let me down. I know without a doubt that I am redeemed.
