Peace with God
Salvation includes relationship with Jesus, peace with God and eternal life.
I have found that not only does salvation provide eternal life, it also provides peace with God and a relationship with Jesus.
As a small child I attended church with my parents but did not fully understand myself or God. One summer, a group of neighborhood teens gathered us kids. They explained how holy and just God is and how sinful we are. Then the told us how Jesus is both God and man and He took on our sin and was punished for us and that we need to believe in Him. Those who trust in and follow Jesus have peace and fellowship with God and eternal life. I prayed and asked God to forgive me and He did. I have peace with Him and assurance of eternal life.
Understanding and turning from my sin and trusting in Jesus’ death on the cross for me has assured me of peace with God, relationship with Jesus and eternal life.
