Peace

Summarizing my faith begins with experiencing genuine peace and joy which is unexplainable and unattainable through any other means. Having faith in God that He will overcome all evil and use all circumstances to achieve His purpose which is good.

Before truly trusting God and having a relationship with Jesus, I spent time and energy trying to fill a void in my life through music, friends, relationships, achievement at school, career, and anywhere I could find validation. However, I continued to feel empty and depressed despite at the time, believing I was genuinely happy and content with life. After a failed marriage, I knew what I was missing I could find through relationship with Jesus. After turning back to church, I walked through many journeys which brought me closer to God, helped me develop a relationship with Jesus and finally experience genuine peace and joy. I no longer chased false happiness but became satisfied and fulfilled with the love only this relationship with Jesus could fulfill. I have been happily married for 8 years with two children and we are a God centered family.

God confirms his love for me everyday. I look for God's message in every circumstance and He never fails to provide me with comfort and peace despite what the situation is. God simply asks us to love him, believe in His Son and love others. These simple actions bring so much more possibility, hope and fulfillment in life which God delivers as He directs my life to fulfill His purpose.
