Peace in the Storms

I am glad to know I have eternal life because I now know purpose for my life, which gives me contentment and peace even when there are intense struggles going on that I can't control.

I didn't know what life would be like after I came to the Lord. But I have experienced many life challenges that He has brought me through safely. I have had so many life changes that I have never been able to work at a job for more than 2 years, but still He has led me to having a stable family and a salaried, supervisory position that is one of the most rewarding jobs I have known yet. He has never failed to provide me a job when I needed it most and when I felt fear approaching about our financial future.

The graceful consistency God has shown through His provision for my life shows me that He has a plan and a purpose for every season I have gone through, and will go through. Nothing that is difficult is too big for Him. That plan and purpose gives me peace in knowing that my life is in His hands just as the Bible says, and that helps me peacefully trust the rest of His Word where He says that I will live in heaven with Him forever.
