Peace in Despair
Despite the despair you may have about a circumstance or life in general, you can have peace that carries you through that despair; the peace that come from having eternal life in God through Jesus.
The confidence of eternal life gives me a peace that I can't explain. Even in the darkest times, I have an inner peace that keeps me from despair.
I had gone through several years of harassment at my job and knew it was time to leave. The plan was to open my own business. I am a teacher, so this would mean working on contract with no guarantee of income. After much prayer (and even struggle), it was the peace I had that finally gave me the courage to resign.
That same peace that gave me the confidence to start my own business is the same peace that gives me confidence and comfort in knowing that when I die I will have eternal life in Heaven.
Your testimony matters too
