Peace and Joy now and forever
My joy and peace for the present and future lie in the fact that I have a personal relationship with the living holy God, made possible through the death, burial, resurrection of His Son, Jesus, on my behalf.
I can clearly remember the feeling of peace and a great burden of sin lifted when I accepted Christ as my Savior.
I can remember skipping up the hill to my dorm room which was a big deal for me because I had a car fall on my leg a year earlier and could barely walk let alone skip.
I am confident that Jesus Christ has paid the full penalty for my sins--past, present and future--and am certain that I will spend eternity with Jesus in heaven.
