Passing from death & darkness into life & light
Throughout my life, I have unfortunately strayed from God many times and often wondered if I was saved or not due to all my personal failures. Praise God that he is always in control and by grace alone, he has restored me each and every time, often using suffering and affliction as the means thereof. I remain imperfect and sinful to the day I die, but God has undeniably changed my heart for his glory alone and by the power of his Spirit at work within me, I shall endure to the day he calls me home. Amen.
I am elated and eternally grateful to God for choosing to include me in his grace and the gift of eternal life, acknowledging all the while that I am unworthy of his mercy and compassion.
God has often used suffering and affliction as a means to restore me into himself when I have strayed and in a back slidden stage. I remember a near death car accident where God graciously spared me (and unfortunately not my cousin who passed away ) and used this experience to bring me back into his fold. We may let go of God but he never lets go those he has chosen in Christ. To him be the glory.Amen.
God has sealed me with his Holy Spirit who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are in Gods possession -to the praise of his glory. (Ephesians 1:13-14. An inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. (1 Peter 1:4) Without Gods spirit at work sanctifying us every day, we would be unable to fulfill his holy will for our life.
Your testimony matters too
