Out of the darkness of addiction

Before I received eternal life I was a slave to drugs, alcohol and pornography.

I remember my life was spinning out of control. I lost my job in our family business through a drunken episode where I totaled the business delivery van. I developed strange health problems. My hair was falling out and I had stomach attacks that left me in a fetal position for hours. The worst were the night terrors, horrific nightmares involving what I now understand were demons. I was desperately searching for answers and nobody could help me.

I watched a powerful message by a TV Evagelist named Billy Graham and I learned how to receive eternal life. I also received power to change and break addiction.

Now that I have eternal life I no longer am a slave to any addictions. My life has been transformed.

Addiction was not only broken, but God gave me purpose. He led me to a ministry called Free Indeed, where I was discipled and eventually became the leader. Now I diciple others with addiction problems.

Being free from addiction is only the beginning, knowing Jesus and the peace of knowing I have eternal life has made my life overflow with gratitude.
