No greater dad than my heavenly Father
I loved Jesus and the Holy Spirit, however, because the two father figures in my life were utter failures I had a problem with a heavenly Father. I feared that the sins of my biological father would be passed down to me. It wasn't until I gave my life to Christ that I learned just to simply do the opposite- Don't do what they did and trust the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth (BIBLE).
Anger/temper
After having a biological and a step-dad who were terrible to me I had a hard time coming to God because of the Father figure image.
My neighbor, Robert Poindexter, led me to the Lord after having sought him for 6 years.
Now that I know Christ, I don't fear the father image. God has conquered my fear of being a bad father to my two sons- I simply do the opposite of what they did and trust in God, use His Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth (BIBLE).
I went through the first Iraqi war. Seven times God told me to move and every time I did rockets hit where I had been. Had I not listened to the voice of God, I would not be here today to tell this story.
I know for certain that if I died right now, I would be with Christ. To come to the Lord takes faith, once there He talks to His sheep and leads them in such a way that it is no longer faith but the touch of the Master's hand.
