No fear
No fear but confidence in my destination.
One of the greatest benefits of knowing that I have eternal life is the freedom from fear.
In August 2012 I found a large lump on my neck while shaving. My doctor had it biopsied and then asked me to come in with my wife. When we got there he had two chairs close together and face to face. He sat in one and I the other. After about 30 seconds of small talk he said "not good news, Gary you have lymphoma". Then he just stared at my face for a minute and said with some emotion "Gary, lymphoma is cancer". I smiled, told him I knew that lymphoma was cancer and said: what is next? The doctor was a bit upset about me having cancer, I was not.
I was not upset since I know exactly where I am going when I leave this planet. I get to go to Heaven and be with God forever, exciting!!
