Never good enough, but JESUS is!

Before I received Christ I thought that I could be good enough to earn my way into heaven.

For example, I was a "kid" who never drank, did drugs, stole from a store, or murdered. I grew up in a home that had a Christian background, but I never owned my faith. I didn't have faith. I had inherited belief, inherited faith, inherited EVERYTHING! I felt that my "good" life and my religious background would earn me heavenly citizenship.

Then, someone shared the Truth with me about myself, eternity, and how to be with God in heaven. I needed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Now that I have eternal life, I know for certain that I will be with Jesus in heaven. I have my own faith; my own salvation; and my own testimony that doesn't give any glory to myself, but to Jesus Christ. My life is now hidden in Christ!!

We live in a world that pushes and promotes people. We are constantly surrounded by people who think that life is all about them, their achievements, and their success. I don't have to define who I am by what I do or have done any more. My life is all about what Jesus has done.

If my life ended right now, I am certain that I am going to heaven to be with Jesus because I believe on Him alone for my salvation. Romans 10:9 "...if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
