Never Good Enough...But Jesus Is!

Before I received Christ, I thought that I could be good enough to earn my way into heaven.

For example, I was a "kid" who never drank alcohol, did drugs, stole from a store, or murdered. I grew up in a home that had a Christian background, but I never had true faith in God. I had inherited belief, faith, EVERYTHING! I felt that my "good life" and my religious background would earn me heavenly citizenship.

Then someone shared the Gospel with me. I heard the truth about myself, eternity, and how to be with God in heaven. I needed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Now that I have eternal life, I know for certain that I will be with Jesus in heaven. I have my own faith; my own salvation; and my own testimony that doesn't give any glory to myself, but to Jesus Christ. My life is now hidden in Christ!

We live in a world that pushes and promotes people. We are constantly surrounded by people who think that life is all about them, their achievements, and their success. I don't have to define who I am by what I do or have done any more. My life is all about what Jesus has done.

If my life ended right now, I am certain that I am going to heaven to be with Jesus because I believe on Him alone for my salvation. Romans 10:9 "...if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
