My trust in God's faithfulness

I am glad I have eternal life because i am relieved of my fear of death. My knowledge of eternal life has caused me to strengthen my daily walk with Jesus.

I know and accept the power of God working with and among us. God demonstrated this by calling me to tasks that I thought to be impossible. I was called to St. Kitts to pray for a seventeen year old. I responded in obedience but full of fear and trembling. I have always been confident that God uses me as a medium through whom he can show his love. I prayed reminding myself that there is nothing I could do for this chap except what God wanted done. After four sessions and constant prayer God delivered that youngster from the bondage of demons. God continues to send cases to remind me that His grace precedes the task. O God unseen yet ever near; Thy Presence may we feel. And thus inspired by Holy Fear, Before Thine altar kneel.

Despite my human inadequacy, despite my sinfulness, I know that God forgives my sin and protects me from his enemies and that nothing can separate me from his love. The is no way I can be presumptuous about my works or trying to live a good life as a guarantee to eternal life but Jesus offered eternal life to believers. My continued trust and obedience assures me of being with Jesus eternally.
