My True Home
When I was not fully content in life, I joined God’s family and found contentment, love, joy, peace, purpose and so much more that I can’t even begin to complete a full list.
Before I received eternal life I had an overall happy life but I still felt as though there was something missing.
I remember physically being at my house where I lived but I would still have this yearning in my heart to be home.
Then I decided to join God’s family one day and immediately the yearning to be home went away. It seemed as though I was looking for home in an earthly place, but home came from my Lord & Savior. Having a relationship with my Creator is indescribable! He is home for me!
Now that I’ve found my home in Jesus, I have continual joy.
I had a rough few years when my dad passed away and just 2 weeks later I had to undergo neurosurgery to remove a benign tumor that was pressing on my optic nerve and would most likely have caused blindness. Going into the surgery I could feel Jesus’ presence with me and I wasn’t afraid because I knew I would go to heaven if I didn’t make it through.
It’s so peaceful knowing that one day God will call me home to be with him.
