My Transformation Through Christ
Before Christ I was crippled by depression and anxiety and the feeling of being addicted to drugs and alcohol to fill the cross shaped hole in my heart. Christ changed all of that.
I used alcohol, sex, drugs, and relationships to try and fill my heart.
I remember how empty and broken my heart was after a night of partying and I remember asking myself what was the point of life.
My friend had shared the Gospel and the love that Jesus has for me.
I’m no longer crippled by depression and anxiety and constantly chasing coping mechanisms to fill my heart.
Shortly after I was saved I remember looking at alcohol and being at peace with not needing it and knowing I have Christ and His love.
The greatest gift given to us is the gift of salvation through Jesus. Now that I have confessed with my mouth and believe in my heart that God raised Jesus from the dead I know I have eternal life with Christ in heaven.
