My Testimony to Salvation

SAMUEL RICHARD SEMBUYA . I am basically a servant of God proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ in Uganda and Diaspora. I communicate the Gospel of Faith in relation to socio-economic transformation a holistic mission of our Lord Jesus Christ on Earth. I envisage breaking the bondage an Inner man’s role that connects the soul through prayer and fasting. I also do believe in dreams, a message carried spiritually as witnessed in the Bible and the current situation. I am an inspiration communicator of God’s love as inscribed in the holly book that “love one another as you do to yourself” this has kept the practitioners in harmony. MY BACK GROUND: Born from a Christian family background, to Mr. and Mrs G.K.Kitoogo of Nakyesanja Buikwe District, Uganda. Aim a second born of five siblings. I usually discussed family fundamentals with my Daddy when one day,he told me about the financial constraints that the family was going through which indeed affected us negatively. It was a tag of war and suffering to attend Education which left all my siblings out of School and by grace of God i was enrolled in a school of Administration Butare University Rwanda to do a Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA). Upon my graduation, I found myself unemployed since this was rampant in Uganda, I got frustrated and become drunkard, drug addict, womanizer a disorder that almost cost my life during this episode of HIV/AIDS. Subsequently, I attempted suicide, exchanged my blood for a pay whenever I was bankrupt. I could be seen around Masaka and Rakai Hospitals beseeching medics to monetize my life. Risk: The love of my family forced me to take dangerous ricks, one day I took a trip to thick and impenetrable forest in the D.R Congo-Bunya on a gold mission only to be arrested and bundled on the track to Bunya town on suspicion that I was a Munyamulenge a group that was causing a security threat in the region. It was astonishing with no remorse when the parents learnt about it. I further went to Zanzibar-Pemba to look for a witch doctor that could make me rich as this place is very well known for Witchcraft strong holds without the knowledge of my Parents which wasn’t only annoying but also devastating. My Parents could always be in tears because of my indiscipline. Visitation: In 1997 while in Kampala Uganda a road side preacher descended on me for a miraculous gospel encounter and this was unsuccessful, little did I know that this would be my happiest episode because from then, a number of evangelist started to encroach my corridors. One night, a loud sound emanating from the Spiritual world struck my room and a Voice calling my name 3 times consecutively was heard, I developed a jovial mood, mediating on grace and love of the Almighty this was a conviction and my Inner men started confessing and it is the time I gave my life to Jesus Christ. “I cherish the work of God in the strongest terms possible. “After a year in salvation, I joined Friends of Christ Church in Kalerwa Gayaza Road,Kampala Suburb of Pastor Kasilye Chris who loved me warmly later, I got a far job to teach Computer in Hands of Grace Secondary School while there I started fellow shipping with Living Fountain Ministries of Pastor Moses Dembe Nandege who saw a calling and started training me as a disciple as well as a Church programmer during my four years stay with him. Thailand: In 2007 I left for Thailand where a got a chance to teach Chemistry in Ratachurcburiknkok School Ratchaburi province and during my stay I joined Redeemed Christian Church Bangkok. While in Thailand I lost my youthful wife who left me with four Children: Godfrey Kiza Sembuya, Richard Sembuya, Nicolas Sembuya and Esther Sembuya and it was another astonishing blow in my life. It took me time to settle and normalizing back in serving God. Calling: After 7 days of dry fasting I got a vision (Hebrews 12:24) to establish a Player Altar in Thailand which elevated to a Ministry in Uganda. (New Covenant Community Care Ministries) Nevertheless, God blessed me with another beautiful wife by the names Mbejjo Berna with whom I have a beautiful girl by the names of Sienna Galayanee Sembuya and she is a minister in the children Ministry in our Church. My Calling to establish a Ministry in Uganda, met a resistance when I opened up a business to cater for my family using a little savings coupled with a loan, later the all business (Ground nuts mailing) collapsed and ended up failing to service the Loan in time a wave that drove me into Prison. Prison: While in prison, I started preaching to the in-met who confessed, repented and many got saved, miracles started happening i.e. Release from prison this manifested into zeal to set up a Care Ministry under our Church. Current Responsibilities: -Overseer and Senior Pastor of New Covenant Community Care Ministries Uganda. -Outreach Ministries in Uganda and Diaspora. -Looking after my Family. Conclusion: Since I was ordained, am steady and ready to take on with God’s great commission of evangelism by the grace of the Lord. Regards in Christ Jesus. Samuel Richard Sembuya. Drug addiction and Alcoholism had become habitual in my life. One day on a trip from Bangkok-Thailand to Entebbe-Uganda, we had a delay at Suvernmabhumi Airport where we were taken to the French launch with friends and we where served all tribes of Alcohol and I was teased by my friends to at least take one for flight and to my dis-mere I resisted and came out soberly. While in that situation my Inner man kept in prayers breaking the spirit of drunkard.

God’s mercy has always been upon my life since childhood and this has made me cherish his works. His Mercy endures forever Amen.
