My Testimony
Through Salvation God's grace has given me a peace and comfort. Knowing I am forgiven and he is in control of my future.
I am so thankful to have eternal life. There is an inner peace knowing that God is always with me. He protects me and knows my future. And I know I will spend eternity in Heaven with him.
After being saved at a young age, I struggled at times with what God was calling me to do. It was like I was still trying to be the one in control of my life. It really brought me to a low place. I even questioned my salvation. I was seeking something, I even moved to different church. That's where things started to change. They taught that no one is perfect, there are no super saints. Christians make mistakes, but they can repent and strive to seek God's will. I realized I was trying to go by rules and was falling short. I repented and was baptized. I wanted to make a statement in front of God and my church that I was beginning a new life in Christ.
When struggles or questions arise. I study God's word, pray or discuss with a prayer partner. God convicts me when I say or do things I shouldn't. I feel his presence when I worship and study his word. I have a joy and inner peace that only he can give.
